  • A FAMILY BUSINESS FOUNDED IN 1954
    Patel Tea Packer was founded in 1954 by Mohanlal Patel,father of Madhavlal Patel.From the beginning of time son of Mohanlal Patel(Madhavlal) sell tea by walking door-to-door in Village area.The Daily selling of 2kgs tea profit was enough to feed the family.At that time Madhavlal has no financial support to increase the business to expand it to new level but the vision was clear.After that childrens of Madhavlal grown up two of their children Deepakbhai Patel and Vinodbhai Patel join the family business and started increasing business sales until 1990.

  • WE NEVER LOST SIGHT OF OUR ORIGINS
    We have started our journey from small grocery store in local market at Unjha.We aim to produce quality teas for the world’s niche markets, with foreign matter content approaching ZERO, to meet the most stringent International standards.We have a fully automated factory with untouched hand process plant & We believe that customers should get tea at reasonable price with complete satisfaction.

  • THE EARLY YEARS 1990
    Until the 1990s,We have interest in loose tea,our teas were sourced mostly from local market and were sold mainly from our shop in Unjha,Gujarat. But when our blends kept growing in popularity, we widened our business to the next level. We began purchasing our teas from Kolkata tea auction.

  • WE STARTED BLENDING TEAS 1992
    In the year 1992,Deepakbhai M Patel,Mohanlal's Grandson,pioneered the concept of sourcing tea from Kolkata's Auction in India.We start blending tea to make some quality test for atleast 12 months to look for four key features: Appearance, Aroma, Flavour and Mouth Feel.There was an incredible reaction to these new blends, and they became something of a Patel's Tea signature. This is our approach to research and innovation.

  • DISTRIBUTOR ENGAGED 1995
    Until 1995, our blended teas were sourced mostly from Assam and were sold mainly from our shop in Unjha,Gujarat. But when our blends kept growing in popularity, we widened our wholesaling and distribution channels. We began selling our teas to other shops in Gujarat, expanding into the suburbs, then out to the rest of the India.
